Pascal Rollet is an architect trained in Grenoble and UC Berkeley. He has worked for Stanley Saitowitz and Lars Lerup in San Francisco, Jourda & Perraudin in Lyon and CRAterre in different African countries.
He has established his own professional practice, Lipsky+Rollet architects, in Paris with Florence Lipsky since 1990.
Lipsky+Rollet architect’s work has been awarded several French prizes such as the 2005 Equerre d’Argent for the best building of the year, or nominations in international competitions such as Benedictus Award 2005 or World Architectural Festival 2008 in Barcelona. He is full Professor of Architecture at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Grenoble where he has been the Faculty Advisor of Team Rhône-Alpes, winning team for the Solar Decathlon Europe 2012 competition. He is co-directing the Architecture, Environnement & Cultures Constructives (AE&CC) research team recognized as LABEX unit by the French government. He is mostly involved in sustainable architecture development and works on R&D solar housing programs.
